The Darkness
No one knows very much about this person, but he (or she) is someone in a position of power with a double identity. Not only does the Darkness have a very large network of spies, but the Darkness also has plenty of supplies and staggering forces.
People used to believe that the Darkness was an immortal god, but obviously, that was just a myth. In reality, the Darkness is not just one person, but many. A thousand years ago, it was Arcturus, whose son then became the Darkness when he died, and so on. The Darkness was always taken up by the son, but in the twenty-second century (2100) things changed. Arrow had no sons--he only had a daughter, also the only heir for the throne. Arrow did not wish to give his daughter this responsibility, but he had no say in matter, seeing he was close to death. So, when Arrow died, his daughter took over being the Darkness. Who she is, no one knows.
There have been double appearances of the Darkness before--the Darkness in one place at say, 12:30 midnight, and the Darkness in other place at the exact same time. The reason for this? It's not because the Darkness is a god--it's rather that the Darkness' sibling is out on the roam. Althought it's happened only twice, it's hard to say who the real Darkness was, and just how many people are pretending to be the Darkness. Now the Darkness is identified by the orange streak in her hair, the only visible part, really, and her glowing orange eyes.
The Darkness has disintegration abilities, force fields, telepathy, and just about any mental ability you can think of. Extrememly powerful, she is a valuable ally.
